English as a Second Language
Due to Inclement weather, the church will close at 1 p.m. Monday, January 15.
Class Is Canceled
ESL classes (English as a Second Language) for beginners to advanced students are held on Monday nights in the Education Building from 7-9 pm. Students learn to use English in the workplace and in their daily life.
Classes will be held on Monday evenings from January 8 until April 29. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes are offered. Download the full calendar here.
In addition to English classes, there is a Citizenship Class to prepare students to become US citizens. The church will provide free childcare during classes, and the sessions include a break time when all students can free “shopping” in the church’s “Clothes Closet.”

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We welcome interested people to volunteer as teachers, substitutes, conversation partners, and child care providers (or substitutes).
The opportunities to help are unlimited. The only requirement to work in the program is a desire to be of service to those who voluntarily come to our program in order to better themselves. Please contact Delight Booker if you are interested in being an ESL volunteer!
